The Modo 16.1v1 version of 3D modeling and design software, produced by the Foundry organization, is now available for download with a size of 500MB and English language support for the Windows system.
Foundry has recently released Modo 16.0, which is the latest version of its 3D modeling and rendering software. Modo 16 series first version adds a new loop tool to assist with intelligent edge loop selection, and updates the existing 3D modeling tools in the entire Modo toolset.
Other changes include a new wrap effecter, display of blending modes in Modo\'s shader tree, background baking of procedural textures, and a new conditional command system for automating repetitive tasks.
In addition, the NPR 2 kit, previously a $199 add-on, is now available for free to users with a valid license.
The Modo roadmap is now public, and the company plans to have two updates in 2022. Modo 16.0 is one of the two updates planned for 2022, as Foundry has just switched from three updates per year to two, stating that \"larger development time blocks\" will translate into \"excellent feature sets, particularly in terms of quality\".
Responding to requests from users for increased transparency in the Modo roadmap, Foundry has also published a temporary feature list for Modo 16.1, which is set to be released at the end of October.
