I was very lucky to work on Mysterio's hallucination sequence, among Framestore's Art Department, back in 2018!
The ending of this scene was different ; instead of the reflections attacking Spider-Man, they would have looked in the direction of a giant Mysterio appearing to smash them all with his fist. Or, with this option, of the world collapsing.
In the movie the giant Mysterio as been moved to the 'Statues of the Fallens' sequence.
