The Starlabs building sits on the the west coast of Metropolis, in the Hellsgate region. Surrounding Starlabs is an old market beneath the raised highways, a dockland area, and a destroyed highway.

I started working level after an initial blockout had been done by Sean Gorman, which ended up having to be reworked pretty heavily by the time I got onto the level. My responsibilities were to take the level from the blockout stage which needed a bit of rework to final, focusing on buildings, unique structures, setdressing with an emphasis on story telling, giving this part of the city a unique personality, as well as polish and bugfixing, etc. A lot of assets were developed by various artists in house and by outsource. My memory sucks, but I believe lighting was done by both Oskar and Ashley at different points in the project. Bridge meshes were made by Matthieu Chollet.
