This was a portfolio project. Princess Mononoke (1997) provided the characters and I took inspiration from a wide variety of fanart across various media. San and Moro were the primary focus. Modeling My goal was to improve posed anatomy and expression. In particular, I focused on a complex open-mouthed pose. Clothing was created in Marvelous Designer and was posed using the Morph Target feature. To get a good wireframe render in a short amount of time, I used Zwrap to speed up the process for retopology on the body and the Marvelous retopology features for the dress. ------------------------------------------------edit Fur was done using a combo of low-poly curve brush geometries and hand-sculpted for the transition from the body to geo. I tried using a VDM but I did not like the look.
