I realized I did not have any crazy materials in my library, so here is my take on it )) I wanted to create some type of cereal with Substance Designer for a long time, so decided why not make a PlayStation-themed cereal. First I tried scattering the shapes in Designer, however, I was not satisfied with the result as I was having a lot of nasty clipping, so eventually, I decided to model the shapes in Max and run a simulation with MassFx feature. After that, I could import the height and color ID map to Designer and finish it off. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag where a fair amount of subsurface scatter was used, especially around the edges, where the cereal shapes meet with milk, as I wanted to create that slushy look. It was really fun making this material.
