Anita

This is my version of _Anita, La Hija Del Verdugo_ (The Executioner_s Daughter). It is a comic book character created by Juan Bobillo, Marcelo Sosa, Gabriel Bobillo and Nestor Pereyra around the year 2000 for an Argentinian publishing house.

I really loved the comic when it was published back then, and I_ve always wanted to do my own version of her (as you can tell from the last picture). I tried to stay close to the original design though, adding just a couple of baby vampire heads that didn_t appear in the original comic, trying to imagine what could have been another chapter in her story.
I_ve been working on it on and off for a long time and finally decided to take the time to finish it once and for all. It_s all sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Blender Cycles.
I would like to dedicate this piece to Marcelo Sosa, inker in Anita, but moreover an amazing illustrator who sadly passed away this year. I haven_t had the opportunity to meet him personally, but I have always admired his work.
