Sometime I feel like that my artworks are becoming a bit stiff because of the use of 3D and photos. So I did those few studies trying to find a more painterly process.
It was surprisingly satisfying and I think I will try to use some of the techniques I learned into my future pieces!
The frames are taken from:

And the last one is from a Wyllis Heaton painting.
