Here's a personal project I created entirely in Unreal Engine 5 Early Access, without the use of external programs. I utilized UE5's built-in Modeling Tools to help me create the custom modules and pieces that I needed from Megascans assets, added directly to the project from the integrated Quixel Bridge. It was incredibly fast and inspiring never having to leave the zone by leaning on other programs and apps.
The fact that all the lighting is completely dynamic and using Lumen the entire process was very intuitive and iterative. I even did a 180 when I was almost done with the project where I removed an entire upper-level section and replaced it with the hellish gate cavern you see in the final project.
Being able to work with and edit highpoly assets from Megascans was such a huge boost to productivity and visual quality in this project.
