Digital Matte Painting for Michael Mann's 1999 film The Insider. Michael Mann picked a specific building in LA but we were unable to shoot a down angle on it so Ken Rogerson shot stills looking up at it. It was my task to integrate it and repaint the lighting and create a lobby and surrounding sidewalk. I always hated how big the Brown & Williamson signs were but it was necessary so they could be readable for the low resolution home video of the time. I also couldn't help sneak in "Brett's Cigar Shoppe" across the street from the tobacco giant!
