This character is a fairy in the Chinese myth "Journey to the West". The story tells that Tang Sanzang traveled westward and came to the deep and secluded forest. The fairies in the forest, because they admired Tang Sanzang, prevented him from going to the Western Heaven to obtain the scriptures. This was one of the eighty-one difficulties that Tang Sanzang experienced. Eventually, Tang Sanzang overcame the difficulty and left the deep and secluded forest. Finally, I will show some of my painting processes.
