作品介绍:Ghost in the Shell - Major Disassembled
A large component of the design work created for the Major focused on her "Smart-Dermis"; layers of fine, artificial subcutaneous tissue muscle and skin that mimicked the intricacies seen in a real human being. The Dermis was postulated to be easily repairable and able to separate into segments when maintenance or surgery required it. The Major's THERMOPTIC SUIT was also designed to interface directly with the major through the Dermis, making the suit a true "second skin".

A significant number of the design iterations that explored the internal and surface aesthetics of the Geisha, featured aspects that were more reminiscent of anatomy than machinery. The results were often disturbing and macabre.
The Geisha design process was instrumental in helping to establish the level of technology in the world of GHOST IN THE SHELL. Early in production, it was postulated that cybernetics and robotics had been developed to a degree of such sophistication, whereby a manufacturer could add artistic detail and complexity to the inner workings of an android in the manner of an exclusive timepiece.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Concept Design
When using the military-industrial complex as a basis for concept design, there is tendency to lean towards armaments and weaponry. In the Spider-Man universe however, the characters and situations provide an opportunity to subvert this aesthetic towards explorations around exotic materials, aerospace, armour and gadgets.

Chappie - Early Chappie Concepts
Chappie was a conundrum of a character to design. Starting off as a mass produced, intimidating industrial armament, Chappie then had to transform into an emotive sympathetic child, without changing his appearance.
Elysium - Max Hulc Suit
Concepts for a mass-produced, utilitarian model were refined using physical mock-ups created by the Workshop costume department.

Elysium - Droids and Augmented Humans
The ELYSIUM Universe depicts lift-assist systems (powered exoskeletons), autonomous robotics, drones, cybernetic integration and advanced medical processes.
