Some of the highpoly sculpting and texturing I did for the new Hive palette on Destiny 2

I had the pleasure of working on the new look for the Hive, alongside our Speedtree wizard, Steve Klipowicz. We created many of these Hive materials by sculpting and modeling the individual parts, later bringing them into additional software. Steve made the original model for the barnacle worms and procedurally arranged them, handing the high poly off to me to continue this pipeline inside Substance. This was the method we used on several of the shaders in game. Many of these were then mixed with other slimey gunk and crusty materials in the final game, to give a really gross, alive feeling.
