Wanted to experiment with something new in Designer, so I made the Chaos Blades from God Of War entirely in Substance Designer. The workflow is using mirrored planes with heightmap. Same is for the chain links where I used two planes and made the chain using heightmap as well. It could be taken into ZBrush, mask out the blade, retopo it and you_ll have the low poly game ready asset
A lot of inspiration came from Daniel Thiger work _Rapier Sword_
