A very early idea for _where the Death Star plans might be kept_.  The idea is that a small, shielded space station is nested within in a planet_s very dense rings.  So dense that no ship can get close to it.  I had thought there might be a gateway that would open up to let authorized ships approach but I never developed the idea further than this.
